From Paris With Love

This was an action packed movie. Very entertaining!! I thought it ha a great story line, attractive characters (wink, wink) and awesome action! I would give this 5 out of 5 points!

Valentine's Day

I watched this movie Saturday evening. This was an adorable movie. It was very real as far as love goes. It was funny, insightful, joyful, happy, sad, and romantic. I love that each of the character's lives were intertwined. It was really awesome. I would give it 4 out of 5 points.

Braveheart

Last night my hubby and I watched Braveheart. I love this movie, but only once in a while. It is not a movie I could watch over and over and over. I do like to watch it oh - once a year or so. It has a great story line and awesome fight scenes. I love that the charachter William Wallace avenges his love. I would give this one a 4 out of 5 points.

Fright Night

My husband, Mia and  I watched this movie last night. It was pretty good. It wasn't too scary. I like the whole vampire movie thing. I would give this 3 out of 5 points.

Nightmare on Elm Street 2010

My husband and I watched this movie on Saturday night. It was scary!! I actually jumped a few times. I love the special effects in this. It is similar to the older version, but not enough to ruin this version. I would give this 4 out of 5 points.

30 Days of Night

Last night my husband and I watched 30 days of Night. I give it 2 1/2 out of 5 points. I thought that it had a good story line and was slightly scary. I was unimpressed with the ending. I did like how the Vampires were similar to the ideal vampire, but still somewhat different and interesting. It helped to make this not just another vampire movie.

Super Troopers

Last night I watched Super Troopers with my husband. We have seen it many times and we love it. It is always great for a laugh!!
I would give it 4 out of 5 points.
I have a few favorite parts in this movie. I like the part at the beginning when the highway patrol officers mess with the guys that are super stoned. I laugh every time. My other favorite part is when they pull over the totally awesome porshe! Such a sweet car and funny part.

Disney's Cinderella

Today I watched Cinderella with my little girl Mia. It is a well loved classic!!! I love Cinderella. I have since I was young. As I have found with all movies that I watched when I was young and watch again now as an adult, there is different meaning to them than there once was. I would give Cinderella 4 1/2 points!

As an adult I still love this movie. The artistry in the cartooning is brilliant. The story is a great one that has many meanings. Some of my favorite parts are when they find the new mouse, Gus; when the Fairy Godmother comes and helps out Cinderella; when the Prince and Cinderella dance; and many many more. I think there are not any parts that I dislike. I guess I am not a fan of the way the step-mother and step-sisters treat Cinderella. It is definitely not nice, and it gets the message across that they are evil.

Zach and Miri Make a Porno

Tonight I watched Zach and Miri Make a Porno staring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks. This movie was hilarious. I laughed several times throughout the whole movie. It is DEFINATLY not a movie to watch when kids are around!!! I would rate this a 4 out of 5 points. The humor is raw and a little raunchy, but it is still fun to laugh at. There is some romance in it, but not completely about romance. My favorite part is when Zach and Miri were getting ready to shoot their scene and they were both feeling awkward and silly. I would definitely watch this one again!!

How I will rate

Since I enjoy watching movies, I thought it would be a good idea to keep a review log of what I have seen and how I liked or didn't like the movies I watch.

I will rate them on a scale of 0-5 stars, popcorn bags, or however you like to think of the points. 0 being a horrible movie and 5 being a great movie. Also I will add in what I loved and what I didn't for each movie. My favorite parts, who was a good actor/ess,and what would have made it better.

This will be a combination of all types of movies. I like a wide variety of genres, so this will reflect that.

My plan is to watch several movies a week and rate them as I watch them. I can't wait to get started.
